I’ve seen this posted on monster.com regarding SEO work. Companies asking that you know RIO. What is this? Where do I learn about this?

Return on Investment, if they pay you 100.00$ for an SEO advice, will they make 100$ or $1000 or maybe $10000 of ADDITIONAL profit due to the investment.

It is the money made by making an investment.

ROI mean Return On Investment

Formula

Net Income / Book Value of Assets = ROI

(Better) alternative:

Net Income+Interest (1-Tax Rate) / Book value of Assets = Return On Investment

You mean ROI, Return on Investment.
What is the amount of money you make per dollar spent.

You need to be able to determine the value of a sale or lead from a search engine referral.

IT is ROI not RIO,
ROI = Return on Investment. A quantitative analysis of investment in advertising and marketing budgets and the resulting return on the investment.
